Book : Kiss Me Tonight  .

Author : Emma Hart .

Genre : Fiction , Contemporary , Romance .

Rate : 2/5.

Review In One Word : Irritating .

*********************************

Actually , I expected a lot from this author , from all the reviews and the hype in the Romance bookstagram Community . But The Book Irritated me so Much, I ended up really disappointed .

The story is so silly , unrealistic and bad , Social Media harassment is real and dangerous , Authors should write to spread awareness about the dangers of Replaying to sexual  private massages ( Even If the person Didn’t intend to send it to you – as the main character of this book did – ), Not encourage it by writing a whole book About a ” love story ” that starts with a ” di*k picture ” , Many dangerous people use others ( Especially Teenagers ) ignorance on this topic to blackmail , stalk and hurt them .

I know that I’m talking about a novel that supposed to be Romantic , funny and just for entertaining , Which WASN’T. But When I read a book , even if it was a children story , In my opinion , It should have a good message . And Romanticizing harassment ISN’T funny or good  at all . Book have huge effects on readers mind , personality , even actions.

Also, I couldn’t connect with the characters At all , for me ,  there was something off in the novel.

For me , I can’t recommend this book , I don’t mean to disrespect the author , But I feel responsible to talk about something that could harm others . This is totally My OWN honest opinion .

KISSMETONIGHT-1Blurb :

In hindsight, I never should have opened that text message. The last thing I needed first thing on a Monday was a picture of some stranger’s, um, eggplant, in my inbox. I also should have replaced the batteries in my fire alarm, because my Friday night did not need to end with my apartment building going up in flames. But it’s fine. It’s fine. Everything is fine. I’m only lying in a hospital bed with more split ends than I’ve ever had, almost all my Earthly possessions have turned to ash, and apparently, they don’t serve wine to patients in this place. But like I said, it’s fine. Until he walks in. The guy who saved my life. My hero. Noah Jacobs. And the universe is amusing itself at my expense, because the dirty photo I woke up to on Monday? It’s his.

  1. Ouch… I’m really glad that you stand for what you believe in and don’t recommend a book that exploits these types of behaviors because it makes a “good love story.” That is unrealistic and outright terrible for younger crowds that could possibly pick this up. Books like this make me really disgusted with the authors for writing it. Thank you for the honest review and for bringing all the bad up! It was very informative!!
