Life is NOT fair...
.
.
It has never been and it won't ever be..
It gives us a challenge after another, but when we think, that's it we are done, we can't tolerate this journey any more..
Life keeps pushing, it gives a struggle that makes you thank your previous problems..
.
I know "you are tired, you feel everyone and every circumstance against you, you can't keep going"..
BELIEVE me, YOU CAN, because that's life, if we aren't fighting everyday then what are we going to do..
. Give up on our dreams?
. Leave our families?
. Or break up with our future?
.
Every precious thing in life needs work, you can't maintain a perfect loving relationship without understanding, sacrificing and working..
You Can't have a great family without working..
Also, you can't achieve your dreams without fighting..
.
Even when you are doing a lot, and life keeps pushing, you PUSH back, you don't give up, you don't lose, you don't stop..
.
QOTD : how are you guys? We are days away from 2020? How was 2019 for you?
.
For me, it was A HUGE FIGHT, literally I had a new problem EVERY MONTH, but guess what, I'm still here, not gonna give up 😌

Yeah, I'm still alive.. 🙈
.
.
I've been so inactive in November, here and on my blog 😢
But I'm still here, I love talking about books, interacting with all my amazing friends here, sharing my journey through medical school..
.
Life pressures are really difficult to deal with, I have so much to do, exams to study for, books to read, articles to write and novel to translate..
Even Though I plan every moment in my day, It is still so hard to juggle all my responsibilities and stay sane at the same time 😂
.
This month, my main goal is to post daily here and on my blog, as well as, keep studying and volunteering as much as I can 🙈
.
QOTD : tell me guys, how do you stay on track with your work, family, studying..life Obligations as well as do the things you are passionate about? Your advice is highly appreciated ♥️♥️

❣️"Whatever you do, do it with purpose. Being Focused is not something to be ashamed of. It is something to be proud of. When you know what are you doing and have clear vision of where you are going, you will not need to chase opportunities. Opportunities will seek you. Happiness will chase you. And, instead of being a choice, you will be the one choosing " - @najwazebian , Mind Platter.

"It's about, like, realizing that just because something is a tradition, that doesn't make it good" Moxie, Jennifer Mathieu. 🙈
.
.
QOTD :what are you currently reading? 📖
. #bibliomedico #bookreview
Moxie ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve started reading Moxie 2 months ago, I took a lot of time reading it, the same time I usually take to read Non-Fiction books. Not because it was boring, But it was important for me, crucial even, to take my time understanding, connecting and reflecting on every word, scene and character. .
Moxie for me wasn’t just a novel I read for entertainment, it discussed a topic that I’m deeply passionate about. .
Feminism, equality and women rights. .
The way Mathieu talked about these deep , complicated and important issues , was just so realistic . Unfortunately , I’ve connected with Vivian and her friends easily , because simply Jennifer Mathieu talked in this novel about our real world , some people are judgmental and clueless . .
Actually , We are all like Viv , Lucy and Emma , We always want to fight injustice , we always want to demand and ask for our rights , but we don’t know how and sometimes don’t have the courage . .
The character development in this story is really impressive , Vivian transformation was inspiring and admirable . .
This Is The Type of books I want my future kids to read , This is how we should educate and raise the next generation , Teaching them that Humans are equal , Women Empowerment is Important , Refusing to stay quiet when other are suffering from injustice , Standing for each other , supporting and acceptance . .
Jennifer Mathieu with her engaging and beautiful writing style , With her unapologetically honest and powerful thoughts , reached masterfully to all of us through this incredible novel .
.
Highly. Highly. Highly Recommended.

QOTD : Have you ever DNFed a book? What prevented you from completing?
. 📖Book Review : ⭐
.
I’m Usually a Fan Of ” Enemies To Lovers ” Storyline in Romance Novels, It’s Interesting, entertaining and gripping, Especially if the hero is secretly in love with the heroine. 😛
.
BUT, After this Book, I don’t think I will be able to view this kind of books the same way as before.
.
Benjamin Crawford aka ” The Hero ” of this story was a complete Asshole. He took the word ” Rude ” to the next level. Yeah, I know, ” Enemies to lovers ” stories usually have arguments, fights and even some hurtful encounters but Ben was an ass to Emelia the Whole Book, the only sane conversation they had, was at the end of the book (The last scene before the epilogue).
.
His actions and words were totally unreasonable. I really hated him, even If he was hurting, he should NOT take all his anger and sadness on others !
.
Emelia’s character was actually decent, not supper interesting but acceptable. I would have loved the book more, If The author explored her character more instead of her obsession and unreasonable attraction to Ben. If Watson had explored Emelia Panic attacks, mental health, her relation with Derek or even her Job more, the book would have been more interesting.
.
Lucy Watson Writing Style was actually really good, regardless of the story, the writing was engaging. But I felt like she was writing the book as if it will be the first of a series, there are many unexplored lines, she would start talking about then completely forget to tell us the rest.
.
Honestly, I was about to DNF this book multiple times, Simply because NO woman (Fictional / Real) should tolerate such behaviour just because she is attracted to a person!
.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this book, it had many wrong issues, in my opinion.

"Like a compass needle that always points north, a man's accusing finger always finds a woman. Always. You remember that, Mariam" A thousand splendid Suns, @khosseini ♥️
.
.
When I read this book at the beginning of the year, I was horrified of how much people suffer and go through horrible things during wars, especially Women, what Mariam and Laila went through in this book was just heartbreaking 💔
.
But when I thought about the concept of Women suffering, Unfortunately, It doesn't just happen during war time. There are high rates of Violence against women. .
But our suffering isn't just about physical Violence, mental abuse and discrimination against women have got high rates worldwide, too. .
For me, I think the way we can face this, is by standing with every woman who go through this, any woman even if we don't know her, If we don't have each other backs, who will?!
.
QOTD : I knew, the concept is heartbreaking, but let's share ideas and solutions of how each one of us (females and males) can defend and stand for women rights and protection?
Starting by small things and acts? .
