“Stay away from the normals, the small-minded people who fill their brains with small-minded pursuits, who blend in and keep up with the Joneses. Those people will tear you down and make you boring. Instead, surround yourself with the weirds. With the misfits, oddballs, and outcasts. Because the normals, bless their hearts, have no idea how to have fun.” ― Penny Reid, Beard Science

I have a habit, that sometimes put a pressure on me, but I can’t help myself 😛  ….

When I read a book and I love it, I HAVE TO binge read All the Authors books, especially in the romance genre, that’s why as part of my book Recommendations series, I started to recommend the best of every authors books ” In my opinion ” ..

authorphotoPenny Reid

New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Best Selling Author of the Winston Brothers, Knitting in the City, Rugby, and Hypothesis series.

Her brilliant sense of humour, sarcastic remarks, beautiful characters  and creative plots, made me fall in love with her books more and more with each new release.

Personally, I would totally recommend ALL her books, but in this post I will be talking  about my favourites which I keep rereading every month 😀

Let’s get started 😉

“I hadn’t seen Jennifer in a week. Absence doesn’t make the heart grow fonder. Whoever said that was a damn fool. Absence makes the heart suicidal. Take my heart for example. It hadn’t stopped hurling itself against my ribs—at odd times, day or night—for a week.”

When I first read about ” Cletus “ in the first  ” Winston Brothers “ book, I was fascinated, his unique, weird, smart,  loyal and brilliant character, made his book one of the most anticipated books for me, and when I read it, I was obsessed ..

Jennifer and Cletus, funny, heart-warming, amazing and different love story, is so interesting to read  and reread, You just couldn’t get bored from their antics and lovely scenes.

Highly. Highly. Highly recommended. You can read it as  a standalone, but to get the real and amazing experience, read the first 2 books of the ” Winston Brothers” Series.

Blurb
Make a deal with the devil and you might get what you want, but will it be what you need?

Jennifer Sylvester wants one thing, and that one thing is NOT to be Tennessee’s reigning Banana Cake Queen. Ever the perpetual good girl and obedient daughter, Jennifer is buckling under the weight of her social media celebrity, her mother’s ambitions, and her father’s puritanical mandates. Jennifer is officially desperate.

And desperate times call for Cletus Winston.

Cletus Winston is a puzzle wrapped in a mystery covered in conundrum sauce, and now he’s in a pickle. Despite being convinced of his own omniscience, extortion by the exalted Banana Cake Queen of Green Valley has taken him completely by surprise. So… what’s a maniacal mastermind to do?

Likely, the last thing you expect.

“I know it hurts, honey.” Mom flipped off the gas stove and wiped her hands on her apron, turning to face me fully. “And it’s okay to hurt. Hurting is just as much a part of life as joy, maybe even more important. Falling down teaches you how to stand up.” ― Penny Reid, Dating-ish

After the most bizarre first date in the history of dating, Marie is looking for an alternative to men. With the help of her friends, she quickly identifies a few possibilities: Need a cuddle? Use a professional cuddler. Need affirmation? Get yourself a life coach. Need an orgasm? Try orgasm meditation! Why does she need the hassle of a romantic partner when she can meet all her needs with paid services?

But then her irritating date resurfaces. And he’s not at all the person she thought he was. And he suggests a different—and crazier—solution to her dilemma . . .
