Well, hi there! My name is Noura and I’m a book blogger, reviewer, and bookstagrammer living in Saudi Arabia. I’m currently doing my bachelors in Clinical Psychology. And I write for The Nerd Daily website.

**List Three Fun Facts About Yourself that Your Followers Don’t Know :

Let’s see, I love graphics design and photo editing. It’s one of my passions and I’ve started using it more often in my bookstagram pictures as well as on my blog. I also really enjoy baking which I need to be in the mood for but truly love (there’s just something about baked goods). And lastly I have a huge Marvel and Disney obsession. Both remind me of my childhood and the love has continued till now.

Books have been a huge part of my life thanks to my mother. I was always encouraged to read and she always got me new books to try. She even read the first Harry Potter book to me when I was still a bit too young to read it myself. I can’t remember exactly which book I first read but the memory of reading Matilda by Roald Dahl is still fresh in my mind. I loved that book so much and I really feel like it paved the way for the rest of my reading back then.

cropped-untitled-design-4**When Did You Start Your Blogging ( On Instagram , Blog and Other Social Media ) Journey ? And What Inspired You ?

All my blogging accounts started at different times. I first started writing reviews on Goodreads in 2014 which seems like a really long time now that I think about it. My bookstagram came the following year, and my blog first started in 2017. It hasn’t been easy if I’m honest. Especially on my blog. It took me a long time to figure out exactly what I wanted to write, and I’m still learning and adding new content. I loved the idea of there being a place to share my bookish thoughts and favorite reads. That was the main reason I started a blog.

IMG_20191013_204140**You have an Amazing #Bookstagram , How much time do you spend taking your photos ?

Thank you so much! The time really depends on how much detail and things I’m putting into the photo. I take my pictures in batches so I spend around an hour and a half taking them. The editing process and filters also takes up some time since I have to edit each photo but I usually just edit the photo that I’ll be using in the moment so things are a bit less time consuming in that sense.

**What is your opinion about the #Bookstagram Community ?

Honestly, the bookstagram community has been so welcoming and loving. It was one of the first places that I started my book loving journey and it really means a lot to me. There has been the occasional drama in the community but that has happened in most of them and I try to not let it get me down too much.

**Your Advice For #Bookstagram Newbies ?
That it takes time, and that’s okay. It took me a while to get the hang of things and back then I thought I had to have everything figured out but you don’t. You really don’t. Take everything one day at a time. It’s a journey and a learning process. You get better at your craft the longer you spend on it.

**What Do you do, when You want to unwind and Relax after a stressful Day?

I love to curl up in a cozy blanket with a book and a cup of coffee. Light a nice scented candle and just unwind. I occasionally rewatch a Disney favorite or a movie that I really love.

**How do you balance everything in your life and find time to share your amazing content ?

That has proven more difficult with university work but I’ve managed to prioritize. I love making  to-do lists. I love listing everything that needs to be done during the day or week and crossing them out as the day goes by. I usually leave my blogging to weekends when I have more time but sometimes I can fit in a post or two if I know what I want to write.

**List Three of your favorite Books :

Oh this is hard! I’ll probably say Harry Potter by J.k Rowling, Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare, and Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor.

** List Three of Your Favorite Authors :

My favorite authors have changed a lot during the last 2 years but right now they’re Cassandra Clare, Holly Black, and Leigh Bardugo.

**List Three of your favorite Bloggers  :

I follow so many amazing bloggers but to list some I’ll have to go with Melanie from Meltotheany, Simone at Simoneandherbooks, and Kelly at Anotherbookinthewall.

**What is the most difficult part in blogging ?

Probably coming up with new content. I find it really difficult to come up with new tags and posts to feature on my blog. Sometimes it takes me a week to come up with a list of ideas, and some don’t even make it on my blog most of time. It’s more a motivational thing I think. If I’m in the mood to write about a certain thing then I’ll do it. Until then it’s going to stay on my ideas page.
